The Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, from where a more ancient part of Rome extends northwards, is at only 5 minutes on foot. With its striking and dramatic skyline, this Basilica is the oldest and first ranking among the four major basilicas of Rome, and also the official seat of the Pope. From here, another 15 minutes on foot will take you to the colosseum. Right behind this grand monument lies the Forum Romanum, an impressive and vast area containing the ruins of the heart of ancient Rome.
Others parts of the historic centre, with some of the most famous monuments, squares and streets of Rome, are also accessible on foot or by public transport.
The close by area around Termini central railway station, arguably the fastest changing and the most multiethnic neighbourhood in the centre of Rome, is even busier and filled with the everyday bustle of countless markets, shops, offices, restaurants, hotels.
As for public transport, the line B metro stop Manzoni is at 3 minutes on foot from the apartment, and several bus lines stop nearby, which will take you virtually anywhere in the city.
This apartment is located on the ground floor. The apartment is on two levels: on the first floor there is the fantastic bed for couple and air conditioning and downstair there is the kitchinette with microwave oven, the double sofa bed, tv, table to dinner and bathroom with the shower.
The deposit is strictly required and this amount will be refunded to you at the end of your stay.
